It's the third day of 12 Days of Christmas, and I typically don’t like to do written tags on here, but I felt like because this one is Christmas themed that I could let this one slide and do it and have you guys get to know me better. I found this tag from this lovely lady that I stumbled on when looking for this tag, so you should definitely check her out!
This is the Christmas Tag…
1. What is your favorite Christmas film/s?
I recently just posted my top 10 favorite Christmas movies that you can read here, but my top 3 have to be National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Elf, and The Santa Clause 2.
2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
My family opens presents on Christmas morning as soon as we’re all awake and, of course, we have the Disney Christmas parade on in the background.
3. Do you have a favorite Christmas memory?
When I was little, my brother, my mom, and I were decorating the tree listening to Christmas music and Let It Snow came on and when it says to let it snow 3 times I just scream sang that part out of nowhere. Another favorite Christmas memory that I have is decorating sugar cookies with my mom for years, and now I have taken over that holiday responsibility (to which there may or may not be a Christmas cookie post coming at some point…).
4. Favorite festive food?
For every holiday, my aunt makes these mashed potatoes filled with garlic and it’s literally my favorite thing about holiday dinners. That, and sweet potatoes. Can never go wrong with those two for holiday dinners.
5. Favorite gift?
To this day, I still think that the Barbie Dream House that I got in 4th grade was the best and coolest present I ever got. It was literally all I wanted and still remember how excited I was when I first unwrapped it. Personally, the 2006 Dream House is way better than then one out now.
6. Favorite festive scent?
In my bathroom, from Bath & Body Works, I have the Frosted Cranberry candle from their Christmas range. In my room, I also have the Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla candle, however, I don’t think that one is specifically from a Christmas range but still reminds me of the holidays.
7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
My family, in the recent years, started playing board games while watching something Christmassy on TV. And lots and lots of eating, of course.
8. What tops your tree?
On our tree, we have it topped with an angel that was given to my mom by her grandmother!
9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
I honestly can’t think of anything wild that I asked for, but I do remember writing a letter to Santa that I left out one year asking him for a reindeer footprint, to which either my mom or dad drew an outline of a footprint which thrilled me on Christmas morning.
10. What’s the best part about Christmas for you?
As cheesy as it sounds I really just love the feel of the season and being with my whole family on Christmas day. There really isn't much that makes me feel genuinely happy than being surrounded by those I love the most and that love me.
Definitely answer some of these questions for yourselves in the comments, I would love to hear about your favorite things about the holidays!
Come back tomorrow for the fourth day of Christmas!
